ABSTRACT
INTRODUÇÃO: a ética em psicoterapia de orientação analítica vem sendo discutida desde o início da psicanálise, visto que é condição indispensável ao aparato técnico do psicoterapeuta. Determinadas situações na clínica psicoterápica tendem a tirar o terapeuta de sua posição ética, sendo necessário que ele resolva o problema sem infringir o código de valores da profissão. OBJETIVOS: o autor busca identificar e discutir brevemente fatores relevantes em uma possível definição de postura ética a ser seguida pelo psicoterapeuta de orientação analítica. MATERIAL E MÉTODO: foi realizada revisão sobre o tema na literatura de embasamento predominantemente freudiano e foram elaboradas, para ilustração e reflexão, quatro vinhetas clínicas, a partir da prática psicoterápica do autor. RESULTADOS/CONCLUSÕES: são apontados os seguintes fatores: 1) a capacidade de se manter uma atenção livremente flutuante ao longo do processo; 2) a possibilidade de sustentar a estrutura do setting; e 3) o monitoramento da contratransferência e do que ocorre no campo bipessoal. É discutida a importância desses fatores de acordo com as particularidades de cada caso, bem como seu papel crucial na decisão de seguir ou não com os atendimentos.(AU)
INTRODUCTION: Ethics in analytic psychotherapy has been discussed since the beginning of psychoanalysis, given its indispensability as a condition within the psychotherapist's technical apparatus. Certain situations in psychotherapeutic clinic tend to drive the therapist out of an ethical position, in which cases she should solve this problem without hurting the code of her profession. Objectives: the author identifies and briefly discusses relevant factors in a possible definition of ethical posture to be followed by the analytic psychotherapist. MATERIAL AND METHOD: a literature review on the subject was performed on texts mainly in the Freudian tradition, and four clinical vignettes were produced for illustration and further reflections, taken from the author's clinical practice. RESULTS/CONCLUSIONS: the following factors are indicated: 1) the ability of maintaining a free-floating attention throughout the process; 2) the possibility of sustaining the setting's structure; and 3) the monitoring of counter-transference and what occurs within the bipersonal field. The importance of these factors is discussed according to specificities of each case as well as its crucial role in the decision about whether the treatment should be maintained or not.(AU)
